Governor Makiko invites you to join us in celebration of a wonderful Rotary year at the 2024 District Conference- taking place at the beautiful Biltmore Los Angeles in downtown LA. We have an informative and fun-filled weekend planned with activities highlighting our incredible city. The event will take place from May 3rd to May 5th and will include a variety of activities and events.
On May 3rd, participants can choose to take optional tours of downtown LA, including a tour focused on LGBTQ history and a historic society tour. Registration will be open from 12:00pm to 4:30pm in the hotel lobby. In the evening, there will be a District-wide Dodger Game at Dodger Stadium.
On May 4th, there will be a plenary session discussing DG Makiko's areas of focus, a lunch with a keynote speaker, a service project, and a celebration of all 63 District 5280 clubs. There will also be a District leadership reception, a major donor reception, and a Governor's Ball.
On May 5th, there will be a business meeting, a musical ecumenical service, and a brunch with a Celebration of Life and presentation of Clubs of Excellence awards. Please note that this schedule is subject to change.
